This 3B Biomechanical Test Block (Item No. 1019880, weight 0.031 kg) is a solid rigid polyurethane foam block used to test orthopedic implants and devices and to train evaluation of bone density.
Bone density: 20 PCF (Pounds per Cubic Foot) — one of four density options available in this range (10, 15, 20, and 30 PCF), simulating different bone density characteristics.
Cortical thickness: 3 mm (CP3) — the cortical shell is simulated by a dense plate (40 PCF) on top of the block, available in 1mm, 2mm, or 3mm thicknesses for each foam density.
Dimensions: 9.5 × 4.5 × 3.3 cm (CP3 variant)
