How this differs from the Skin Flap replacement: the skin flap alone covers just the outer injection surface. This component goes deeper, replacing the musculature and spinal cord as well — the right choice when wear or damage extends beyond the surface skin into the deeper anatomical layers the needle passes through during spinal injection technique (such as lumbar puncture or epidural practice).
