The brain stem is sectioned to show the hypothalamic nuclei; the thalamus is removable and divisible into two parts for internal examination. The insertions of the cranial nerves are easily recognizable on the surface of the brain stem. Accompanies information card with related structures. Important anatomical structures are numbered and indicated in different colors for easy understanding.
