When worn by the standardized patient, the shirt simulates physiological conditions to test diagnostic and procedural skills. It is controlled wirelessly with easy to use software and responds in real time to diagnosis and treatment with direct feedback.
Instructors can easily adjust and adapt the suit scenarios to fit many conditions wirelessly by using the SimScope Wifi.
The Shirt offers a basic version with all features of the Bionic Hybrid Simulator, except EKG and blood pressure. Includes SimScope Wifi and tablet. Reusable and washable (30°C), available in different sizes.

SimShirt® System Auscultation Simulator — Wearable Standardized Patient Training for India
The SimShirt® System (Item No. 1021552, MPN: 718-3420M, 2.242 kg, Size M — Chest/Waist/Hips 102/87/100 cm) by Cardionics, USA is a wearable simulation garment for standardized patient-based auscultation training. Worn over a live standardized patient, the shirt simulates heart, lung, and bowel sound conditions at anatomically correct RFID-tagged sites, letting instructors run real, hands-on physical exam scenarios rather than manikin-only sessions.
A lighter-weight alternative to the Bionic Hybrid Simulator. SimShirt shares the Bionic Hybrid’s core auscultation simulation, RFID site-tagging, and real-time wireless control — but it does not include carotid or radial pulse simulation, a 5-wire EKG connection, or compatibility with Cardionics’ blood pressure accessory. Institutions that need pulse-check and vital-signs training alongside auscultation should look at the Bionic Hybrid Auscultation Simulator instead; institutions focused specifically on heart, lung, and bowel sound training on a standardized patient get the same sound simulation at a lower cost with SimShirt.
