The 3B Scientific® Patient Care Manikin BASIC (Item No. 1018817 [P11/1], 19 kg, 174 cm) was developed for scenario-based training of basic patient care and nursing skills, simulating an adult, life-size patient with interchangeable genitals.

Moves and positions like a real patient. Natural movement of the arms, legs, and joints allows realistic positioning, including sitting the patient upright in bed for treatments. Made of durable, unbreakable, water-resistant plastics for longevity in everyday training use.

Comprehensive patient and personal care skills, including transfer skills (lifting, carrying, moving), bed care, position changing and alignment, bathing and genital care, hair care, eye/ear/nose care and cleaning, personal hygiene and denture care, bandaging (including amputation stump), wound treatment (surgical staple seam, laceration, abrasions), and step-by-step communication skills training.

Full range of medical care skills, including bedsore (decubitus) prevention and evaluation (stages 2–4), prevention of muscle cramps, pneumonia, blood clots, and healthcare-associated infections, inhalation and oxygen therapy, ventilation bag use, artificial respiration, tracheostomy care, diabetic foot syndrome care, colostomy care, eye/ear irrigation, and intramuscular and subcutaneous injections.
