“AbdoAbby” Abdominal Examination Simulator (MW43)

The “AbdoAbby” Abdominal Examination Simulator (Item No. MW43, 14 kg, 40×80×20cm) by Kyoto Kagaku, Japan gives a true-to-life representation of the tactile features of abdominal organs, convincing enough to serve as a benchmark for cultivating the sense of touch in physical examination training.

Realistic texture built for both shallow and deep palpation. Supple, resilient, and delicate textures respond authentically whether trainees are practicing light surface palpation or deeper structural assessment, with respiratory motion adding another layer of realism.

Interchangeable organs for a wide range of pathology training. The set includes 2 kidneys (hydronephrosis, cysts), 2 spleens (slightly enlarged, enlarged), 4 livers (precirrhosis, cirrhosis, chronic hepatitis, normal), 2 inguinal lymph nodes (normal, lymphoma), and 2 uteri (normal, fibroid) — letting instructors swap in different pathological presentations for varied training sessions.

Comprehensive examination skills covered: visual inspection; auscultation of the renal artery, abdominal aorta, iliac artery, and bowel sounds; palpation of the liver, spleen, kidney, uterus, and lymphoma; and percussion of the liver, spleen, and rib.

Developed under expert clinical supervision, with production overseen by Takahiro Amano, M.D. (Senior Advisor for Academic Affairs and Professor, International University of Health and Welfare; Honorary Director, Sannno Medical Center, Japan), Kyoko Arai, RN, PHN, PhD (Professor, School of Nursing, University of Shizuoka, Japan), and Tamerlan Babayev, MBBS, BSc (Assistant Professor, International University of Health and Welfare, Japan).

Comes ready for classroom use, including 1 male torso unit, talcum powder, a respiratory motion control unit, all interchangeable organs listed above, a simulated stethoscope, a controller, an AC adapter, 4 storage cases, and an instruction manual.

Made from soft resin and is latex-free.
