The AirSim Combo X is ideal for training in percutaneous tracheostomy and needle and surgical cricothyroidotomy. An inflatable tongue can be used to simulate edema. Realistic features include palpable cricoid landmarks, laryngeal cartilages and tracheal rings to provide positive user feedback and easy identification of the sternal notch.
The AirSim Combo X airway manikin is compatible with a full range of supraglottic devices. We recommend the following equipment sizes for optimal performance:
- 7.0-7.5 mm ID for nasal intubation
- 8.0-9.0 mm ID for oral intubation
- Large / Size 6 for BVM ventilation mask
