Life/form® Child CRiSis™ Manikins

This complete resuscitation system is designed for teaching individuals or groups life-saving techniques for children. It provides complete Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) training capabilities and combines all of the skill stations on one manikin, making training more realistic and giving students an appreciation for the smaller scale of the patient. Simulates a 5-year old child, 118 cm tall and 9 kg in weight.

Airway Management

The airway management module supports the full range of advanced airway devices — ET, EOA, ETL, LMA, EGTA, Combitube®, and King Systems — alongside oral, nasal, and digital intubation. An inflatable stomach bladder confirms oesophageal intubation visually, separate left and right lungs support bilateral auscultation, and suctioning capability is present. The fully articulated head, neck, and jaw thrust mechanism supports correct positioning technique, and a palpable manual carotid pulse enables assessment training integrated into the resuscitation sequence. The CPR module features realistic anatomical landmarks for correct hand placement and paediatric compression technique development. The manikin is also compatible with supraglottic airway devices for extended airway training. Compared to the Complete Child CRiSis™ (1021994) and Deluxe Child CRiSis™ with ECG (1005624), the Basic configuration does not include the blood pressure arm, defibrillation chest, femoral access leg, intraosseous infusion module, or IV arm — those capabilities are present from the Complete configuration upward.
