Procedure 1 — Intraosseous Infusion Training:

Intraosseous infusion is the first-line emergency vascular access route when IV access cannot be established rapidly in a critically ill or injured child. The LF03632 trains the complete IO procedure at the proximal tibial site — the standard paediatric IO access point — with full landmark fidelity and functional fluid aspiration:

• Palpable anatomical landmarks — patella, tibia, and tibial tuberosity are all palpable, enabling trainees to practise the correct landmark identification and needle insertion angle before and during the procedure
• Replaceable tibial bone — the IO insertion site component is replaceable, extending the training life of the simulator and allowing high-volume practice without degradation of needle-feel fidelity
