CT QA Phantom JCT II (PH-54) — Standards-Compliant CT Scanner Quality Assurance
The CT QA Phantom JCT II (Item No. PH-54, 3 kg) by Kyoto Kagaku, Japan is a renovated CT QA phantom built for both initial acceptance testing at the time of a scanner’s installation and ongoing periodic quality checks throughout its service life.
Built to recognized testing standards. The phantom supports initial and follow-up QA tests as described in JIS Z 4752-3-5:2008 (equivalent to IEC 61223-3-5:2004) and JIS Z 4752-2-6:2012 (equivalent to IEC 61223-2-6:2006), and conforms to JIS Z 4923:2015 — giving institutions confidence that their QA program meets recognized international testing standards, not just an internally defined check.
Comprehensive testing across scan types. For axial scans, the phantom supports evaluation of slice thickness, spatial resolution, low contrast resolution, noise, and mean. For helical scans, it supports slice thickness, HU number, and uniformity testing — covering the full range of parameters technologists need to verify scanner performance.
What’s included: cylindrical container (with fixing screw), slice thickness unit (axial), spatial resolution unit, repeated pattern unit, low contrast resolution unit, 2 slice thickness units (helical), fixture for the slice thickness unit, fixture for the cylindrical container, angle adjustment holder (table-top type), storage case, instruction manual.
Materials: acrylic resin. Size: 200mm diameter × 200mm.
Training application: CT.
