Skin, the body’s protective cover:
Healthy skin protects us from the outer world being a waterproof, insulating shield against bacteria, dirt and other foreign objects, ultraviolet rays of the sun, and extreme temperatures. It is packed with nerves and allows us to move freely and experience the world (tactile sense). The nerves serve as a direct connector from the outside to our brain, and thus the skin funtions as an important regulatory indicator for our body’s fluids and temperature regulation.

The anatomical models have strong magnets that allow them to be attached to magnetic wall panels for easy viewing. This is particularly useful for anatomy and biology lessons, when a whole class can be pointed to certain anatomical structures and the models should be mounted well visible to all.
