Lactating right breast — inflammation compared side-by-side with healthy tissue. Medially divided into 2 halves, showing healthy lactating breast tissue on the cut surface of the external half, and breast gland inflammation (mastitis) on the cut surface of the inner half.

Non-lactating left breast — a full progression of pathology in one model. With 2 sagittal cuts separating it into 3 parts, this side shows healthy anatomical structures on the external sectional plane, windowed skin to view regional lymph nodes, cysts and fibroadenoma on the middle breast cut’s external plane, pathological proliferation of breast connective tissue (fibrocystic breast disease) on the middle cut’s inner plane, and malignant tumors on the inner breast cut — giving a complete visual progression from normal tissue through benign and malignant pathology.
