The Angiographic CT Head Phantom ACS (Item No. PH-3, 5.25 kg) by Kyoto Kagaku, Japan is the company’s best-selling CT head phantom, purpose-built for CT, angiography, and multi-energy CT training and technique verification.
Three variants to match your imaging modality. The ACS series offers three head phantom variations with different arterial features, tailored to CT, angiography, or multi-energy CT (MECT) applications — including a newer MECT variant containing arteries made from innovative water-equivalent material, giving more accurate multi-energy imaging characteristics than standard contrast simulation. Arterial arrangement is identical across all three types, so switching between variants doesn’t change the anatomical layout students and technologists are learning.
Anatomically embedded, three-dimensional vascular structure. Contrast-enhanced left cerebral arteries are three-dimensionally embedded within the brain, including the left anterior cerebral arteries, left middle cerebral arteries, and internal carotid artery, with simulated vessel diameters ranging from 0.5 to 4.0 mm — fine enough to support realistic angiographic technique training on small vessel visualization.
Calibrated Hounsfield Unit (HU) values for realistic CT readouts: soft tissue (0), cerebrum (40), mesencephalon (40), cerebellum (40), cerebral ventricles (10), eyeballs (20) — giving accurate density readings that match real clinical CT scan interpretation.
