The PET/SPECT Thorax Phantom (Item No. PH-63, Brand: Kyoto Kagaku, Japan) is a comprehensive tool for nuclear medicine study, supporting myocardial density examination through SPECT imaging and RI (radioisotope) solution density evaluation for simulated tumors. Myocardial imaging can be verified using various RI solution densities, with the ability to capture defects in the myocardial region. Image variations of the heart can be reproduced by injecting RI solutions into the liver, kidney, and lungs. Simulated tumors can be inserted into the lung, liver, and breast, and filled with FDG/RI solution to evaluate density, size, and placement.
Training applications:
- PET/SPECT imaging
- Quality management of nuclear medicine equipment
- Myocardial density assessment with SPECT imaging
- RI solution density evaluation for tumor imaging
Anatomy and pathology represented: Liver, lungs (right/left), kidneys (right/left), hot spots (settable in liver, lungs, and breast for PET), heart — both anatomical type (right ventricle, left ventricle, myocardium) and geometric type (left ventricle and myocardium).
Set includes: 1 thorax body, 2 lungs (left and right), 4 hearts, 1 liver, 2 kidneys, 1 rib cage and spine, 2 breasts, 3 hot spots, 1 base, plastic pins, 6 supporting bars, 4 flat bar rings for base, 5 tubes, 1 syringe, nuts and bolts, 1 water tank, manual.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What’s the difference between the anatomical and geometric heart types? A: The anatomical type reproduces realistic right ventricle, left ventricle, and myocardium structure; the geometric type simplifies the left ventricle and myocardium into standardized geometric shapes for more controlled quantitative testing.
Q: How do I order from SEM Trainers? A: Contact us at [email protected] or call +91-88495 63724 for pricing and availability.
