Scrotal Ultrasound Phantom (US-11) — Screening & Testicular Pathology Training
The Scrotal Ultrasound Phantom (Item No. US-11, 3.6 kg / packing weight 7 kg) by Kyoto Kagaku, Japan is built to help trainees master safe, patient-comfortable technique for scrotal ultrasound examination — a procedure where positioning and handling matter as much as image interpretation.
Two interchangeable scrotums, normal and pathological, let students practice on both a healthy baseline and a pathological presentation without needing two separate phantom units. This directly supports one of the most clinically important applications of scrotal ultrasound: visualization of testicular cancer, alongside general screening and patient positioning/preparation technique.
Excellent ultrasound image quality ensures the training experience closely mirrors real clinical scanning, so skills transfer effectively to actual patient examinations.
What’s included: 1 pelvic body, 1 normal scrotum, 1 pathological scrotum, talcum powder, storage case, instruction manual. Size: W34 × D33 × H24 cm. Made from soft resin.
Replacement parts available for both the normal scrotum unit and pathological scrotum unit separately — useful if one wears out faster than the other under heavy training use, letting you replace just what’s needed rather than the full kit.
Developed under supervision of Charlotte Henningsen, Chair & Professor of the Sonography Department at Adventist University of Health Sciences.
