CT Whole Body Phantom with Pathologies (PH-2E) — Hands-On Pathological Findings Training
The CT Whole Body Phantom with Pathologies (Item No. PH-2E, 50 kg, 165 cm height) by Kyoto Kagaku, Japan lets institutions implement theory with practice, giving students hands-on training identifying real pathological findings — not just normal anatomy.
Built on the same realistic foundation as the standard whole body phantom. Radiation absorption and Hounsfield Unit numbers are approximate to a real human body, main joints have close-to-human articulation, and the phantom disassembles into 10 individual parts for easier handling and storage.
Embedded pathological findings for diagnostic training. [List specific pathologies and their locations here — confirm from Kyoto Kagaku’s Anatomy and Pathologies reference document]. This lets students practice detecting and interpreting real pathological findings on a phantom that behaves and images like a real patient, closing the gap between classroom anatomy and clinical diagnostic reasoning.
Training applications: plain X-ray, CT, and basic patient positioning.
What’s included: whole body phantom, head supporter, flat head screwdriver, sample X-ray set, instruction manual.
Materials: urethane-based resin (soft tissue), epoxy resin (synthetic bone and skull). No metal parts or liquid structures.
Replacement parts available for the right and left hands, right and left upper arms, right and left thighs, and right and left feet.
Optional parts: storage cases (2-box set), and body plates for BMI 32 or BMI 40 simulation.
